  • Starting January 2003, TwinGlass - A tranparent, end-to-end and scalable IPv4 and IPv6 transition mechanism has been put to trial use in two general purpose computer labs in School of Computing, NUS.
  • Design and development of a Middleware framework for rapid prototyping of embedded internet appliances. The work has lead to the startup Innvo Systems Pte Ltd.
  • In March 2000 it successfully demonstrated an Internet appliance based on Voice over IP at the Internet2 meeting in Washington DC.
  • Conceptualised and designed the NUS campus wide Secure Plug-and-Play network which includes design of proprietary single-sign-on protocols, and policing services to ensure that the network is secure with its 24 hours open network access points.
  • Worked on a project called "Chameleon" based on the concept of TCP Trunking by Prof. H.T. Kung of Harvard University to provide stastical guarentess for a number of voice/IP connections between two gateways. We have also developed mechanisms like TCP HACK (Header Acknowledgement) and TCP-CM (TCP for continuous media) which have been published in reputable conferences and journals.
